Australian Minister Visits India to Foster Education Links Between the Two Countries

In New Delhi, the visiting Australian team, led by Education Minister Jason Clare, engaged in student engagement programs and conducted a high-level discussion with the Indian delegation led by the Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan.
Both parties discussed advancing their relationship in secondary, postsecondary, and vocational education.
By investigating the delivery of transnational education in the higher education, skills, and research sectors, the two ministers reiterated their commitment to enhancing institutional collaboration and two-way mobility.
The Australian minister is in India for five days to boost educational ties between the two countries. Other notable attendees were former international cricketer Adam Gilchrist, now the global brand ambassador for the University of Wollongong, and Australian High Commissioner to India H.E. Barry O'Brien. The ceremony was also attended by a delegation of the vice-chancellors and provosts of 21 Australian institutions.
